All too often, you hear of people who start with a big business dream but, sadly, watch those dreams go down the toilet after a few mistakes or miscues. Here at Solbio, though, our business dream actually started IN the toilet!

Let me explain…

A couple of years ago, I was on vacation with my wife, Gerd, and my dog, Icey. We decided to drive an RV through the beautiful Corsica countryside. We didn’t worry about the lack of bathrooms in the remote RV campgrounds we parked in overnight because we had our own chemical toilet onboard.

 

Unfortunately, though, that toilet wound up putting a damper on our entire trip!

Everywhere we went, we were greeted by “No Dumping” signs. So, we drove from place to place with a full toilet! Eventually, those powerful chemicals wore off, and our RV started to stink. Talk about spoiling an otherwise unspoiled island!

 

It didn’t take long for us to realize that our vacation would be so much better with an all-natural toilet fluid. That way, we could empty it anytime, anywhere. Instead of riding around with the stench of dirty toilet, we could have enjoyed everything that Corsica had to offer.

And that’s where the dream of Solbio was born!

After that trip, we decided to consult our good friend Piet Ottens. He developed a natural toilet fluid made from plants and natural ingredients. That way, it could cover up bathroom smells without unleashing a bunch of harsh chemicals. With it, people could travel the world, sail the open waters for weeks on end, or simply head off into the nearby woods and enjoy the solitude of nature — without worrying about how, when, and where they’re going to empty their toilet.

Now that our dream has come to life, we wouldn’t travel any other way
